Curated guide

Why this version

This is a fan-made ROM hack, not an official release. Balance, encounter tables and text differ from the original game, and save behaviour can vary between hack revisions.

How to approach it

Play this in sessions: catch a few creatures, clear one gym or boss, then reorganise your team and save in-game. Keep the tab open while battling and avoid clearing site data so local saves survive.

This is a Chinese fan-made modification of a Game Boy Advance Pokemon title, widely circulated under the Shining Shadow name. It rebuilds the roster, difficulty curve and encounter tables around later-generation creatures while keeping third-generation battle mechanics.
