Why this version

This entry is the Nintendo 64 Simplified Chinese release, useful if you want to confirm the platform and interface language before starting.

How to approach it

Short sessions work well here. Use the keyboard or a gamepad, learn one stage at a time, and save in-game where the game allows it before closing the tab.

Super Mario 64 built the template for 3D platformers: an open hub castle, fifteen main courses and 120 stars earned through varied objectives rather than a single exit. Movement depth, including long jumps and wall kicks, is the reason it still plays well.
