Why this version
This is an unlicensed Mega Drive conversion rather than an official SNK port, so presentation and roster differ from the arcade original.
How to approach it
Practice mode first, then short matches. A gamepad gives cleaner special-move input than a keyboard, and most rounds fit into a few minutes of browser play.
The King of Fighters '99 introduced the Striker system, letting a fourth team member be called in for assist attacks during matches. This Mega Drive conversion condenses the arcade release onto 16-bit hardware.
